Hello

I noticed that many core elements like menu, list, selection do not support keyboard input (especially things like cursor up down and enter space to move through a collection of items and select them).

Is that on purpose? For me it makes these elements basically useless.

Cheers

Bernd

We're currently working on keyboard support for all of the core and paper elements. I just finished the initial work on https://github.com/Polymer/core-a11y-keys on Friday and hope to start integrating it into all the proper elements as soon as possible.

Hello there,
First timer here. Has this seen any imprvoements yet? I've joined  aproject using core-menu and found that while items inside submenus seem to be tab-selectable )in Polymer demo page), the submenu itself isn't.

Alternatively, is there guidance around how to implement it manually using the core-a11y-keys component?

I'm trying to fix an implementation that happens to affect the entire page to make it affect only the site menu, but just providing the ID of the menu as target doesn't seem enough.

Thanks for the great project overall and the accessibility effort especially as well.

Regards,
