Does anyone know if a standalone polymer linter exists? I know dart has a linter, but I'd like one for vanillajs polymer projects as well. Basically I'd like something that checks whether or not referenced imports exists and validates custom tags and attributes.

At the moment there's no standalone linter (unfortunately). There is a bookmarklet which will check if there are tags that are missing imports, you can find it in this article (https://www.polymer-project.org/docs/polymer/debugging.html). We're also planning a dev tools extension to help with some of these debugging issues
