Hey Guys,

I have noticed that there is sadly not currently an official or many official Nuget packages for Polymer for use inside of Visual Studio. Is this something that is currently on your roadmap? Please keep me posted on this as I would be an extremely happy panda if this is the case :)

Provisionally my personal brand, FrostAura Consolidated now manages a package for this. This package scaffolds all core and paper components with a demo of how to create a custom web component with automated documentation and unit testing. Check it out at https://www.nuget.org/packages/FrostAura.Dynamics.Polymer.Kickstart/

Please if you have a chance, check it out and feed back to me whether or not this is in fact all cool with regards to legalities (For this reason this mail is sent with high priority). If all is well, we provisionally intend on keeping this package up-to-date as you release official updates via GitHub.

Kind Regards,

Dean Martin
CEO

Hey Dean,

Thanks for reaching out! We don't currently have a plan to support an official Nuget package. Totally fine (and appreciated!) by the Polymer core team to maintain a separate package there like the one you list - as long as it's not trying to appear to be an "official" Polymer package, you're in the clear. The more dev surfaces we can make it easy to use Polymer with, the better.

Thanks again,
Taylor
