Polymer Yeoman generator won't get polymer 0.5.1

I'm trying to use the Yeoman generator to create a new app / element.

I see in the Github repo for the generator that the bower.json should be including Polymer 0.5.1, but instead I keep getting 0.4.0. 

When I check the template for the generator in my local /usr/local/lib/node_modules/generator-polymer/app/templates I see that it is not the current version from github.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Yeoman and the generator to no avail.

What am I missing here?

Maybe Rob haven't updated it yet.

You may try updating your bower.json for a while.

That was my first thought, but the github repo for the generator seems updated.

In any event, I did manually update my bower.json file. I was just curious about the generator not appearing to be getting updated.

I'm not sure it's been published to npm yet.  Try: npm install -g yeoman/generator-polymer#master as a temporary measure

The updated version was published a while ago. Try running `npm install -g generator-polymer` or `npm update -g generator-polymer` to get the latest version
