What kind of behavior should I expect with <link rel="import" href="..."> tags?

I'm using Chrome 37.0.2062.120 and it appears that Polymer component imports are getting cached.

What are some workarounds to force a complete page refresh?

Have you tried the typical cache buster?

Something like:

... href="foo.html?20140917" ...

If you do that, you're defeating the whole point of imports -- the dependency resolution.

David -- why do you need the full page refresh? Is this for development?

Open the devtools and tell it to disable cache when the tools are open.

Nickolas: I'm not currently using a build system, though I will try out the pointy ears of vulcanize soon.

Dmitri: Yes, for development.

Rob: A great suggestion!
