Why isn't string concatenation supported in Polymer 1.0?

I was just wondering why string concatenation is not supported in Polymer 1.0? And if or when it will be supported.

You mean in bindings? {{str1 + str2}}?

That's supported to day via computed properties. There are plans to support for multiple annotated bindings in properties, attributes, and textContent.
