Tap events in the Polymer tutorial not working on iOS

Tapping on the tabs in the Polymer tutorial isn't working on iOS7

Scrolling for the tutorial is terrible on iOS. This can be fixed though with the standard work around of wrapping the scrollable content with:

 {                                                            

    overflow: auto;                                                                  

    -webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch;                                               

  }

Touch events and scrolling work great on iOS in the topeka demo:
