Hi,

I'm trying to create components to be used in the polymer designer, but I have some problems with the designer. I don't understand how to correlate the css from the page to the metadata elements and style.

I've looked at the core-elements, but when I create my components I have problem setting the width and making the autosize work inside my content tag.

There is a more comprehensive guide to creating a good metadata file than the one on github? https://github.com/polymer/designer

This may be due to the fact that your element is, by default, display: inline. If you make it display: block, it'll be easier to size.

 I don't understand how to correlate the css from the page to the metadata elements and style.

I'm not sure I follow this. What do you mean by 'page'? As pointed out in the designer readme, you should use inline styles in your element template. Here's the example again:

<template>
  <google-map zoom="18" style="width: 400px; height: 400px; display: block;"></google-map>
</template>
 I have problem setting the width and making the autosize work inside my content tag.

Setting the width and autosize where? in the designer itself? Designer's autosize attempts to fit an element inside its container and it works best if the container has position (absolute or relative).

I went through the metadata files of the included components to get an idea of how to create a new one
