Polymer project upgrade form 1.0 to 2.X

Hello guys,
I want to upgrade my project form polymer 1.1.0 to 2.x version. It is a mid level project with lots of functionality. But i have some questions like how can i upgrade my project to latest stable version of polymer. what is the current stable version of polymer to upgrade my project. Is it feasible to upgrade to 2.x polymer version as i have current source code in 1.1.0 version. Is it the right time to upgrade to 2.x version as i see lots of bug fixes in 2.0 to 2.x version later 5-6 months.
