Polymer + Meteor / DOM Issues / Roadmap?

Hi all,

I am running into those DOM issues here as well https://github.com/Polymer/polymer/issues/1405

Can some Polymer person share a little bit about what the plans are for those DOM issues? I'd love to make Polymer my choice for material design on top of Meteor but then I'm a bit unsure how much you guys think those little issue might go away over time?

Reason I am asking is simply that there seems to be a lot of interest from many people on a well-working combo of Polymer + Meteor, both are magnificent new players on the web-landscape... :)
