Checking the initial render state of a component

Hi!

Following this question and this question I would like to kindly ask you clarify:

- how the initial render of a lit-element is carried out,

- if any method exists which return the rendering status,

- if a promise exists which is fulfilled when rendering is completed,

- how I can check that render is completed and elements are ready for any use
