paper-shadow problem

hi, im new (1 day old) to polymer and im having a problem with my content paper-shadow the problem is the content is not set to auto width, it always retain to width:1024px; that i set on .section class, i want it to make auto width depends on display, im not sure what's the problem also i added a core-media-query but not sure it works :) sorry noob...

also the height of the paper-shadow is not auto
