life cycle in polymer

Hi 

I hope somebody can helpme, I'm making a repeat in a template.

<template repeat = "{{cover in covers | keys}}">

            <div class ='item'>

              <img src="{{cover}}"></img>

            </div>

 </template>

when this is finish i want to aplly a function to make changes in the DOM put styles, class but  when I use domReady the dom is not ready the template repeat not yet ready if someone can helpme  i apreciate.
