Weekend activities

We will meet Saturday at 10:00 AM at the park. I plan to hang some additional signs and stake out receiving areas for soils, plants, and bed materials. 

We are looking for volunteer workers (and a coordinator) to transport and drop off garden materials at Polly Judd.  Times are yet to be determined but it will be in the next two weeks on days when we can coordinate with Parks to open the northwest access point. If you are interested, come by Saturday and see the layout.

Sunday at 1:00 PM we will meet at my house 1412 W 7th Ave (between Cedar and Walnut). I am hoping Robynn and I can go over the non-profit incorporation paperwork. Jon wants to coordinate on the opportunity of moving soil, plants, and bed materials from the Fairview and Hemlock community garden to Polly Judd Park.

Which would be awesome.

I will be at both meetings and will have draft Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, and some IRS materials for the Sunday meeting. Another topic to think about is a Polly Judd educational display/table for the Cliff Cannon block party on Sat. Sept. 16 from 1-5. We need to develop content and have some people to work the event. Really, more like party the event because it will be tons of fun.
