Hello Friends!  Happy Spring!

 

I booked 6 spots at the HI Castle Mountain on Friday and Saturday nights for Stanley Glacier hike (Aug. 28 & 29).

 

Let me know if you are interested.  I will remind you as well in early August after I will get back from Poland.

 

Stanley Glacier

Length (one way): 4.4 km
Estimated time (return): 3 hours
Elevation gain: 385 m | Elevation loss: 40 m
Trailhead: Stanley Glacier parking lot, 91 km east of Radium Hot Springs.

Habitat: Regenerating forest, glacier, glacial moraine, cliffs, many small mammals. Watch for fossils.

 

Also, if anyone is thinking about HaLing Peak for September 26-27, let me know so we can book hostel for Friday and Saturday or just one day.

 

The Canmore Alpine Hostel is fully booked, so we will have to look somewhere else.
