Running the Benchmarks

I'm having difficulty running the benchmarks. I can make them, but when I run make run it never finishes. The csv file is created, but nothing is inside it and it never completes

Hi Albert,

 

Could you please tell me how are you trying to run them ? Using make run ?

I think they never finishes because you run them on a hard drive and thus it takes so long to finish.

Please try to run them either on ext4+dax or on tmpfs:

 

export PMEMBENCH_DIR=/dev/shm # or /mnt/my_pmem_fs/

make run

 

Please let me know if it helps.
