implications of disabling ndctl support

Hi,

Are there any performance (i.e., benchmarking) implications to disabling ndctl in pmdk via 'NDCTL_ENABLE=n' at build time?  Or is it mostly used for management and diagnostic features?

Right, here is no performance ndctl impact.

Thank you for the clarification Anton!

Too early to say if I have a performance issue or not, I just had a nagging curiosity if a particular PMDK build that I was using was a reasonable starting point for some performance tests.

Ok, I'm working hard ~24/7 on pmem performance.  Please let me know if you will have any pmem/perf questions.  For best DAX performance you should use PMDK at least version 1.5
