plink 1.9 merge-list, can not open *fam file though file exist

Hi,

I wanted to merge chromosomes using merge-list flag of plink1.9. I have done this many times with the same inputs and options. But now I am getting:

Error: Failed to open
The/path/of/the/fam/file

Attached is the full log with the head and wc command of the same fam file.

Any Help?

Sorry, but you’ll almost certainly need to copy those files to a regular local directory; the “s3-api” in your path implies that at least one operation performed by plink isn’t supported by your system.
