Play Framework in IntelliJ community edition

Hello,

I'm trying to use Play Framework in IntelliJ communitiy edition, following the tutorial: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/idea/2016.3/creating-and-running-your-scala-application.html

The option is simple inexistant in this veresion of intelliJ. 

Can anyone tell me how can I use it in the community edition version?

Have you installed Scala plugin?

Also, I'm not sure that Scala plugin has all the features activated for community edition.

Yeah right now my team all use the ultimate edition of IntelliJ. I would love to use the community edition but last I checked it wasn't really an option.

Have you found a way around this?

There isn't AFAIK. At least, not legally.

Ahh man that's super disappointing. So do most people pay for ultimate or are people using a different IDE?

Ultimate is well worth the money. So yes, most people pay for it I guess.

If you have an ISIC card or student email you can have the Ultimate Edition for free.
