How can I change the background color of al window?

how can I  change the background color of the terminal window and other window in plan9?

To my knowledge, there is no configuration for it. And that is by design.

It has been a while since I last looked into it, but I think this still holds true: https://github.com/prodhe/acme-setup/blob/master/acme-colors.md

Short answer, look into plan9port/include/draw.h:31,59 for the hex codes and allocimage(3) man page for an understanding of how they mix together.

This is how I changed the 9term coloring to match acme for example: https://github.com/9fans/plan9port/commit/911dcfd317786043c1f3d406207d4aba50891970
