HELLO LISTERS,

 

We will be getting a Varian True Beam machine next year and the question of jaw tracking during VMAT came about. Does Pinnacle support Jaw Tracking? Currently we are using vs. 16.2but planning to upgrade to Evolution.

Hello all, does anybody still use the stereotactic cone module in Pinnacle?

Does it have any important limitation or drawback for frameless SRS?

 

According to the manual, the cone calculation assumes everything inside the air-tissue threshold is homogeneous (water-equivalent?), including the possible immobilization parts inside this threshold (unless it is corrected using ROIs with density override). Do you find this is important in practice?

Sorry for the late reply. Yes jaw tracking works.  The attached file are the settings that we find work without causing issues.  The MLC corner information is slightly off on this document and I need to get the correct values still.
