I just got the bad news from a Mark Rabe family member that Mark passed away a week ago due to a massive heart attack. Mark's older brother, Mike Rabe, is a legendary Oregon hang gliding pilot in the early days. Mark became an active hang gliding pilot around 2015 for a few years. We'd kept in touch via texts since he moved to Goldendale, WA. Despite some recent health issues, Mark told me things were getting better just a few weeks ago. My condolences go out to the Rabe family.
