Well it is back up but it is unnerving not to have any reply from Maciej to queries here. 

It's not as if we are always on his case.

Yes indeed it is.

And the lack of replies to my previous repeated queries about the v2 APi has me now working on my plan B - to setup a simple bookmarks (and importantly for me: notes) hosting service that I can run myself.
