The PRC does not require 100 per cent membership in the organization for the organization to be recognized as an APO but only 50 per cent +1. Second as an APO, membership in PIEP is voluntary and not mandatory as PRC rules. From your email below PEIP is only an APO . From the recent events it is not an AIPO but an SPO.

 

I am only interested to get my PRC ID renewed and avoid the hassle I encountered the last time I renewed it. I think most of the professional EnP is also interested on how they could get an official COMIGS and avoid the embarrassment of presenting an COMIGS that will be rejected.

 

Who is the group recognized by PRC, SEC, the courts ? Any group claiming legitimacy will they present documents supporting their claims so we the members will avoid the hassle and embarrassment when renew our PRC ID. I hope, contesting groups will look after the interest and welfare of the members.

 

Lastly, I appreciate if you will give us the courtesy of informing us you identity rather than simply sending an email as President. For all we know there are Presidents of PIEP.

In this regard, COMICS is still one of the requirements for the renewal of EnP license considering that PIEP is still the APO for all registered environmental planners in the Philippines.
