Hi Patrick,
To survive, the specie must evolve to the changing environmental conditions. The dinosaurs are not really extinct--- the reptilian age may be gone but reptiles are still around. The present reptiles are the dinosaurs that have evolved to survive to the changing environment. I am using the dinosaurs as an example because this term has been widely used in the discussions in this blog but principle of specie adaptation and evolution covers all forms of life from the simplest prions that is almost like a chemical, viruses with its incomplete cells to very complex organisms like humans.
Relevance to your blog below ? It answers your previous observation of the “exclusive club” and “elitist group”. In the light of changes in perception as you have observe and some comments in relation observation noted, “exclusive club” and “elitist group” is politically incorrect now.
