All,

It may be more relevant to owners of a real PDP-11 front panel. But it would work on the PiDP-11 just as well... so I felt free to gossip about it.

Jörg Hoppe has made a prototype of what he calls the UniBone: a card that brings simh onto a physical Unibus.

He has a DEC memory card working as a test case. And although it will still take a lot of software effort, driving a tape or disk unit or any other PDP-11 device from sim/BlinkenBone/PiDP is very much possible. Or, the other way around, the BeagleBone could be a (any) device for a real PDP-11.

Oscar, Do you have a link to any unibone info? Google search just lists some kind of nutrition supplement and the www.retrocmp.com/projects/unibone URL on the PCB doesn't exist.

There's no link yet... Jörg just sent me an email with some pictures. He's conservative with showing work-in-progress (I should have done that 2 years ago with this PiDP-11 project!)

But I'm sure he's happy to email on the topic.
