Next batch of PiDP-10s and your orders & 'expressions of interest'

Hi,

I think I have been a bit fuzzy on this topic (the mind was in PiDP-10 practicalities...), but just to confirm: 

the next batch of 150 PiDP-10 kits goes to everyone who expressed his/her interest either by email or on this Google Group. 

If there's more than 150, I'll take a chronological order. But I think there's enough. We're shipping them out on Friday if all goes well (if the plane taking them to the fulfillment center in Florida has capacity), and we're all set a few days later.

In order to keep you solvent (because maybe you have future projects in mind!) what should someone who is in the "shipped to" list expect to see in terms of an invoice or other 'way to pay'?

Well, Oscar, better start ordering the next batch of PiDP10 - we all want one and we all have FOMO-anxienty. I do. 
The PiDP-10 will look great next to the PiDP-8 and PiDP-11.

Are there 150 kits ready to ship or are they still being worked on?  Can we find out if we are on the list for the current 150 or are they spoken for, and we will have to wait for the next batch?  Just trying to plan the build here, buy the Pi, etc.

Agree but any status would be very helpful for those of us getting ready (and buying parts) to build one of the PiDP-10s.  Most of us would be happy just to know that we are on the list for this batch.   Can we at least find that out so we can relax and stop asking?

True. I'm a bit swamped and TBH I have some brain fog issues that make me less organised than I was a few years ago. So apologies for poor communication. We do keep a list from everyone who emailed or posted. 

I had hoped to send out the second batch of kits last week, and then people would not have had too long to wait for a reply. 
But just my luck, the shipping boxes were first not good enough, now they're delayed. So I'm looking at yet another week before I can send them out. It's amazing how trivial things like that can get in the way.

No worries Oscar, I think I can speak for the most of us waiting for a PiDP-10 that we can a) wait patiently for it to arrive; and b) are massively thankful for all the work you put into this.

And brain fogs...yeah...they sound familiar ;-)

Just wondering on what to expect for ordering… 
And timeline.   
I sent “interest” email on March 9.. but since I have not seen a PayPal invoice I presume my order won’t be in this batch.   (Checked email and PayPal.)

I’m hesitant on being a distraction; apologies if this has been covered elsewhere.

Apologies for keeping you waiting.

I had expected to send out the next 150 kits last week, and the response would then have been quick enough not to make anyone feel 'floating'. 

But the shipping boxes we ordered turned out to be no good, and then the replacements were delayed. 

So - I noted down all expressions of interest and I will email the order details as soon as I can send out the kits!
