Ohai FIG Humans,

It's time to cast your votes for new Secretary terms!

We have two openings we are voting on:
  • The Secretary term currently filled by Alessandro Lai is ending and the new term up for election will run until August 2020.
  • The Secretary seat recently vacated by Mark Railton is up for election and that term will run until May 2019.
Our candidates are:
  • Alessandro Lai
  • Ian Littman
  • Daniyal Hamid
Any Project Representative or Core Committee member is eligible to vote on Secretary candidates.

Because we are voting on more than one open position, we will consider the candidate receiving the most votes to have been elected for the longer of the two terms.

The votes will be tallied using the Single Transferrable Vote style, so provide your vote with a reply to this thread, ranking candidates in the order of your preference.

If you have any questions for the candidates before voting, please feel free to post those to this thread so that other voters may also see any answers the candidates provide.

Voting for the Secretary Elections will END on August 18th. Get your votes in now!

Thank you for your input and participation in this important process.

Best,

Director of Cat Herding

Strictly speaking you vote as a CC member and NOT as project rep. Either way
you only vote once.
