I hereby nominate Samantha Quiñones for re-election to the position of
FIG Secretary.

My observations this year have been that she has done a stellar job
representing FIG at numerous conference venues; in particular, she
keeps an eye on the various proposals and details around them in order
to be able to field questions from community members, and bring
feedback back to editors and working groups.

She has shown grace under pressure during the various debates around
secretarial responsibilities, demonstrating a willingness to listen
and resolve conflict through collaboration and compromise; these are,
to my mind, essential tools for anybody filling the role.

to FIG, PHP
Nomination received most graciously.

I'd add that as a secretary it has been a great pleasure to work with Samantha these last few months after she took office to fill the remainder of Gary Hockin's term.

+1 IBMiToolkit

Samantha has done a tremendous job remaining on task, and not over-stepping the duties asked of her. She has been available, and I'm sure spent a significant amount of time in her contribution.
