In this case, PSR 15 and 17 are in need of a new sponsor/coordinator. I'm interested to hear how open PSRs will be transitioned to the new structure.

That was no accusation, I actually have no bone to pick with Paul, so you are really misintepreting it.
What I had in mind is that he can still be involved with the PSRs and just ignore everytging else going around.
As a silent subscriber to this list, I'd just like to say that it's exactly this kind of assumptions that seems to be fuelling the drama of the FIG.
If his project decides to leave, it's decision should be respected. Instead of doing that, you're accusing him of making a statement.
I think one of the ways to create a less confrontative and more constructive FIG is to end this trend of speculating into each other's motives.

All,
With the passing of the FIG 3.0 vote, the group in which I was a founding member has ceased to exist.
We see before us now a new and different organization, with a new and different mission. It usurps the name "FIG" to lend a false appearance of continuity, and to lay fraudulent claim to assets it has not produced.
Aura (et al.) will not be joining this new organization.
