SQL Server 2019 for PHINMS

Hope this PHINMS community group is still active. Has anyone successfully upgraded SQL Server 2019 for PHINMS? We’re working on the upgrade because SQL Server 2012 is out of support soon. We’re having problem so far with SQL Server 2019 and would appreciate any help you could offer.

Do we have to install new driver or open security port, etc?

Just taking a shot in the dark here.. I bet the JDK (Java) that your PHINMS is using does not support the TLS version that MS SQL Server (and everything else these days) requires.

Can you upgrade to PHINMS 3.2?

Even the 3.2 version does not support the required ODBC drivers for SQL2019. Both 3.1 and 3.2 are limited to SQL 2016.

We have a set of SQL2016 servers just to support PHINMS.

Yes, but that was more because we were setting up new servers anyway.
