Hi,

I am running a flow and heat transport model using TH mode. The standalone flow model ran well, but when I added temperature, I started to see the following errors.

(48): Error in THAuxVarComputeNoFreezing->EOSWaterDensity for cell 252300.

  2 2r: 1.77E+00 2x: 1.57E+08 2u: 4.59E+03 ir: 1.21E+00 iu: 1.42E+03 rsn:   0

 Warning: negative term in density (eos_water.F90:EOSWaterEnthalpyIFC67):

 t=   -82.7557757522308       p=    187625.364533946       xx=

 -2.550382576796596E-002

I checked cell 252300 location, and it is in the middle of the domain. I also checked the initial and boundary condition for temperature, and they seemed normal to me.

Is there a good way to debug this?

Thanks,

Pin,

We need more information.  Is this the first time step?  A temperature of -82 points to bad forcing (bad initial condition, boundary condition, source/sink), etc.  But we need more info.

Glenn
