ICC to Investigate Israeli War Crimes

Israel and its ally, the United States, have both refused to sign up to the court, which was set up in 2002 to be the only global tribunal trying the world's worst crimes, war crimes and crimes against humanity.
The Palestinians, who signed up to the ICC in 2015, have already accepted the court's jurisdiction but have repeatedly urged the court to move faster.
A full ICC investigation could possibly lead to charges against individuals being brought. States cannot be charged by the ICC.
Senior Palestinian official Saeb Erekat called the decision a "positive and encouraging step that brings us closer to the opening of a criminal investigation into the crimes committed in Palestine in accordance with the Rome Statute, putting an end to the impunity of the perpetrators and contributing to the achievement of justice".

Following Bensouda's announcement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lashed out at what he called "a dark day for truth and justice". >>

Israel has so much contribution towards modern civilization, while 56 Muslim countries has none. Israel is the only democracy and only civic country in middle east. Others are just counting 72 virgins!
Israelis have no choice but to stay strong in their historical country of origin. Historically, that place was dominated by Jews and Christians but that had been changed to be a different place when Jews/Christians were faced the force of conversion or flee. Most of them fled rather than becoming slaves. It became Muslim land and the word Bishmillah become the name of the game. Muslims can create many Muslim lands as they want but if others do, that becomes a real problem for the world. Jews need no home land? Before 1967, Israel was a far more smaller state but that was not good enough for Muslim neighbors and Ummah. Isreal must be destroyed at any cost and Israelis need to be thrown in the sea. All surrounding Muslim countries attacked tiny Israel and suffered a shameful defeat and rest is of course history. I do not see Israel vacating these conquered territories and go back to square one again. That is simply a day dream. Would Israelis listen to ICC jokers? And, jeopardize their existence again? I do not think so. I am waiting to hear Israelis using the four letter obscene word.
