For decades, Israel has been assisting, nurturing and protecting many dictatorial regimes & autocrats , especially in the Middle East,  to maintain their  undemocratic  grip of power and to continue the persecution of democratic voices. Because it is much easier to manage a corrupt and un-mandated regime to serve its interests than to meet the expectations of people via an elected government.  No elected government would support what Israel has been doing. Hence erecting and supporting autocrats are its only option. 

In exchange the autocrats get all the protection in the international elite bodies such as in IMF, WB, G20, EU etc.  and  get all the surveillance,  persecution equipment and arms needed for the repression of the citizens.  It's an arrangement that serves well both the autocrats and Israel. 

Awami dictator Hasina  regime  is the new subscriber of that Israel-autocrat 'axis of evil' model. 

Another example of AL being the anti-Islamic regime.   No Muslim can have a valid Iman who supports this  anti-Islamic-Modi-Israel-loving Awami  regime. No Muslim can have valid Iman who supports this fascist AL that  cross-fire, mass-incarcerate  and demonize Islamic people,  extrajudically kill and abduct  human beings, making thousands of children orphans .  NO MUSLIM can be a Muslim anymore who supports a murderous and torturerer dictator like Hasina .

Very true, Brother Rashed. I will just add that the Jewish state couldn't do a thing without the unflinching support and unqualified backing of the US, in addition to other western powers that you have mentioned. The US vetoed at least 53 times since 1972 any UNSC resolution that went against Israel, or critical of it. Even this time, the US blocked at least three times for an earlier ceasefire. Any nation receiving about $4 billion economic and military assistance annually from the US would definitely be a Cat to all the Rats around. Besides, fighting against Israel meant fighting against the US and most of the Western powers. Why nobody ever raises the question how and why a tiny Israel is an undeclared nuclear power in the ME, while everybody is concerned about Iran's nuclear programs?

And Bangladesh? Once brother Taj Hashmi said that Hasina's Bangladesh has no foreign policy. It dances to the tune of New Delhi which installed it in 2009. After availing all the billions of dollars in grant and other hundreds of billions in soft loans and economic assistance from China, it is trying to distance from Beijing on Indo-US prodding. Because, Hasina could not go against her bread provider. I had warned so (that India could not distance from New Delhi), as did Prof Ali Reaz and others, when many pundits thought Bangladesh was becoming a Chinese baby, following the Indo-China clash in May 2020 along Ladakh-Aksai Chin border. The equation keeps changing.

Interestingly, I've recently confronted an Awami leaguer, a freedom fighter & also devout Muslim who lives in Boston.  I told him the same thing as Rashed Anam's concluding remark that a true Muslim can't  support the current Hasina regime. He finally admitted that he doesn't like any leaders except two, Sk. Mujub & Zia, a striking change in some Awami mindset.

I think most patriotic Awami leaguers have the same opinion which they can't express in Bangladesh but they will admit elsewhere. So, let's  not lose hope, & keep fightingagaibst Hasinas fascist rule.

Thanks, Rezaul Karim Bhai. Definitely, all Awamis are not bad and do not support the way Sheikh Hasina is running the ugly fascism in the country with backing from her sponsor India. But there are also Hasina worshippers like M Shoaib who thinks Hasina is Heaven-sent for Bangladesh and can only be removed by her death (meaning Heaven). He is not alone in this list.  

I am sure, the moment the table is turned, many Awamis, even die-hard ones, will be quicker than bullet speed to switch loyalty. Remember August 15 (1975)? How close associates of Mujib rushed to join Mushtaque stepping over the bleeding dead body of Mujib? There is an Urdu saying: Waqt waqt ki baat!

In the wake of the famous Al Jazeera Report early this year, the Economist explained how the RAW-driven Hasina bought the loyalty of the entire system that mattered, including the military and police, by providing money, benefits and other perks. Such benefits are also enjoyed by their cronies, lackeys and agents inside and outside the country. Those who do not toe the line, DSA and other draconian acts take care of them in the Torture Cells.
