I just finished watching the video. Zoglul Bhai, Jalal Bhai, Taj Hashmi Bhai and others made right observations. It is a very bold, important and useful video. Let it go viral. Let it have the widest dissemination. Let the people at home and abroad know the "Real Bangladesh."

I agree with the General that relief or independence from this illegal regime, terrorizing situation can only come through popular uprising. People have to come forwards for the change. And, leadership will automatically generate when such movement starts. New dynamic blood is needed. The oldies have mostly become fossils or resorted to singing Mujira only. He subtly hinted he might join such a movement.

However, he tried to avoid the details of the Reshma incident in the Rana Plaza collapse. It was surprising that he did not read Reshma's writings, which is supposed to be very important, before talking. In those days, it was believed Reshma Rescue was his brainchild, because he was close to the PM. He even admitted that government deliberately did such things to cover its other failures. Something must have gone wrong somewhere. Not a big issue now.

Is the General in Bangladesh? Is so, I am worried about his safety. Taj Bhai revealed that the General declined to talk two months earlier. He now seemed to have been emboldened with some backing. Zoglul Bhai suggested that he had military support to go public. Whatever, such people must talk. Let the snowball roll and gain momentum. I think General Suhrawardi showed the way. Other big names should come forward and tell the truth to the people, who need to get out of this suffocating situation. General Suhrawardi himself said at the end, "গুম খুন না হলে আবার দেখা হবে, কথা হবে ।

I believe Gen Aziz is an Indian stooge,  not Chinese.

Thank you, Taj Hashmi Bhai, for the background story. In the tug of war between China and India over Bangladesh, the BD army has sided with China, India has been manoeuvring to bring it under its control. So, the govt. has become unstable. It may be that the army is behind the exposure on Samrat, Papiya, Shahed, etc. Let's wait and see.

Agree with Zoglul Bhai. Kanak Sarwar phoned me a little while ago and told me that even two months back Gen Sarwardy refused to give an interview, telling Kanak Sarwar that he would be killed or made disappear. And yesterday he called the interviewer and revealed so many sensitive things. The most noteworthy being: even Hasina's and her close associates, including Gowher Rizvi's phones, are tapped, purportedly by the DGFI. It seems Hasina is now a hostage to Indian agents, Gen Aziz and IGP Benazir Ahmed, and the BGB Chief.

I believe the exposures of Hasina's close associates' wrongdoings -- including those by Samrat, Papiya, and Shahed -- are just examples of blatant blackmailing of Hasina by India through the Army, RAB, and police to warn her to distance from China. She could be killed and toppled by India, and General Aziz could be the next ruler! Who knows!

There is good amount of coverage of Muslim persecution in China in the international media, but the world opinion on the Uighur issue is divided. 23 countries backed UN's criticism of China's treatment of Uighur and other Muslims, while 54 countries were quick to defend China (please see: https://www.dw.com/en/un-members-divided-over-chinas-treatment-of-uighur-minority/a-51046710). Earlier, 22 countries sent a letter to the UN Human Rights Council to end the massive detention programme, while 37 countries countered it in another letter, for the names of the countries writing the two letters, please see:
