Melvin Flyer, the first husband of Mary Jill FitzClarence (1928-1971), daughter of the 6th Earl of Munster.(descended from William IV and Mrs. Jordan), died Feb. 7, 2024 in San Francisco, California. Mr. Flyer was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., April 28, 1929, son of Philip and Sadie (Weiss) Flyer. He married Miss FitzClarence in New York, June 4, 1953, a dozen years before her father inherited the earldom. The marriage was annulled in 1960. She later married John Walter (or Welter?).
