Baby on the way for Flora VESTERBERG, granddaughter of HRH Princess Alexandra of Kent

Flora VESTERBERG, a granddaughter of HRH Princess Alexandra of Kent, announced on her Instagram account today, that she and her husband, Timothy VESTERBERG are expecting.

Flora  Alexandra VESTERBERG (b. 1994) is the only daughter of  James Robert Bruce OGILVY (b. 1964) and his wife Julia (nee RAWLINSON).

She is also a paternal granddaughter of the late Rt. Hon. Sir Angus OGILVY (1928-2004) and his wife, HRH Princess Alexandra Helen Elizabeth Olga Christabel of Kent (b. 1936).

HRH Princess Alexandra is herself  the daughter of HRH the late Prince George Edward Alexander Edmund, 1st Duke of Kent (1902-1942) and his wife, HRH Princess Marina of Greece ande Denmark.  

This makes Flora the great-granddaughter of the 1st Duke of Kent, and a 2xgreat-granddaughter of King George V and his wife, Queen Mary.

Flora's aristocratic connection extend on her father's side as well.  Sir Angus OGILVY was the son of the 11the Earl of Airlie, and a maternal grandson of the 3rd Earl of Leicester.

Flora and Timothy married on Sept. 26, 2020, at St. James Palace.

Our daughter Isabel Marina Vesterberg arrived safely on the morning of 8 July. Timothy and I are overjoyed and full of love for her. She’s named for the blessing that she is as well as my paternal great-grandmother. Her name also means ‘of the sea’ where we always feel most at peace in Scotland and Sweden.
