Apparently....You can buy better, but you cant pay more!  😄

My el-cheapo lifepo4 batteries keep plugging along.

I thought that BattleBorn used prismatic cells?  Obviously not.  

There was a battery that looked a lot like the Battle Born inside, that Will reviewed, that was going for $86 on Black Friday.

This has to be the nail in the coffin for Battleborn.

But wait, there’s more… Follow up video earlier today (Battleborn responds).

In fairness, I ran 12 of these batteries to create a 300ah 48v bank back in 2019 and it worked flawlessly for 4 seasons before I sold them all and moved to 4 x 48v batteries from Epoch in 2024.  Same footprint, 400ah, bluetooth cell monitoring, etc.  Whoever bought the Battleborns got some of the well built ones.  

I wouldn’t go near Battleborn now, they really seem to have lost their way.
