Where are you supposed to installed the sacrificial anodes on a 1976 Pearson 35?  The prop doesn't look to have room and I don't see any clear location on hull.

Stbd side forward of that thru-hull and just aft of the engine water intake thru-hull there is a connection pad for a teardrop zinc.

You should find a connection point for the internal wire-bonding in the bilge.

BTW – BoatZincs.com have been a good source.

Good luck,

Is there room for one of these compact zincs?

Lots of different types in a search here:

If you mount one a zink the hull and connect it to the engine ground it may not properly protect the propeller because at very low voltages that make galvanic corrosion the oil in the transmission can electrically isolate the prop shaft from the engine.  In that case you may need a brush assembly that makes contact with the prop shaft (also called a wiper) and is connected to the zinc or to ground.

Currently using a prop nut zinc.  Before redoing the motor installation and changing prop there was enough room in front of prop for a collar zinc.
