September Meeting this Thursday!

Hi All,

Our next meeting is 9/18 6:30 at Westmoreland park. Remember that this week is our last meeting in the park. Sara has graciously extended an invitation to resume our meetings at Threshold. She will be bartending those nights, so I would imagine things will run smoothly and we can look forward to including her. 

Another reminder, given the current political climate, we have all agreed on these meeting guidelines: PBC Code of Conduct - Google Docs . 

If you have kegs slated for Jordan's party, the PBC meeting would be a great opportunity to pass them off to him.

If you have a beer that is submitted to LagerDays, please announce that. I trust our group to make ethical decisions when tasting beers that are submitted to competition where some of us may be judging. I feel like if you make a helles or dunkelweiss, I'm sure I could judge that fairly amongst the rest on the table. However, if you bring something really unique, I think a judge should pass on that.

I anticipate a lot of beer this meeting :) and I am bringing a couple guests. Remember all are welcome and let's have a good time. Don't forget taster glasses :)

I would like to discourage people from bringing bottles of your Oktoberfest party beers to pbc this week. We’ll all try them in a couple days after the meeting. Let’s try to hold our excitement and enjoyment of them for the party!

Also, if you plan to bring a keg to the meeting for storage please let me know - I only have space to store max of 6 5gal kegs earlier than party day.

My guests and I assume others will not be attending your party. Use your own judgement in what beers you want to bring.

I hardly every have beers to bring so you can be certain I will be bringing my Oktoberfest beer, sorry J!
