Hi,

I am using pdrtpy H2 excitation package.  I have some H2 rotational line fluxes in upper limits. I am wondering if there is a way to include these upper limits in the calculations and plots, where the upper limits can be in different symbols.

Thank you!

Lin

Hi Lin,

The short answer is no, though this is something I've wanted to put into pdrtpy for a while.  You might be able to hack your way through this in a way similar to this post .  That is, do a fit without the upper limits, then refit using the first result as a starting point and apply the upper limit constraint(s).   This would require some digging into the pdrtpy code which you may or may not be comfortable doing.

best,
Marc
