PCRE2 10.40 for z/OS (EBCDIC) will be distributed in a few days!

I skipped 10.39 because for a reason unknown to me I do not receive emails, even though I should. I am posting this not as an email but directly to the board. I would be grateful to anybody who may suggest why.

Dear PCRE2 Developers.
I am currently using the latest version of PCRE2 and I see that version 10.41 has been added to the changelog. I would like to know when is the planned release date for version 10.41? So that I can decide whether to wait for the new version or not.

The z/OS EBCDIC version is an isolated branch of PCRE2. It is purely a port and not a part of the development. I suggest that you should re-open this topic as a new topic addressed to the main branch developers/

There is no planned date for 10.41. We usually wait at least 6 months if nothing major crops up, it is unlikely to be before October or November.

Hi ZA,

I'm trying to do similar work as you did, would you mind sharing how did you port/build the PCRE2 on z/OS from the source code? is there any doc or code?
