I am running NMS on a 33x16 matrix on PC-ORD 7.10. The distance matrix I am getting has 34 columns instead of 33, with the 10th column repeated as the 11th column (see screenshot below).  I'm pretty sure I'm doing something stupid, but I can't figure out what. Can anyone help?.

Bob, it looks like the result file was pasted into a spreadsheet and some formatting chaos has ensued. The result files are plain text files. You can look at them directly in Notepad or the PC-ORD viewer.

Meanwhile, the result file reports the main matrix as having 33 years, which sounds right. Hard to tell what's going on without seeing more of the output.

Thanks, Bruce.  I tried to write it out again, this time to an Excel file and it came out fine. However, when I write it to a Results.txt file I get an extra column. I pasted the first two rows below. See the duplicate 0.1868 in 1989 and the duplicate 0.2325 in 1990? 33 rows in and 34 distances out.  Again, maybe I'm just confused, but it looks strange. Anyway, thought you'd like to know.

Bob

You're right! That is misbehaving. We'll look into this and post a fix at some point.
Meanwhile, to get the correctly formatted distance matrix I would suggest using the option to "Write to spreadsheet file"

Bob, this problem has been fixed and is included in the latest free update, v. 7.11, now available if inPC-ORD you run Help | Check for software updates.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
