Position : API DEVELOPER

Location : Blue Ash, OH

Duration 12 Months C2H

Ideal Candidate will:

• Have strong experience with API Platforms, REST APIs, SDKs, HTTP, and OAuth2/OIDC

• Have experience with Microservices, PaaS, Cloud (Azure/GCP), and Rancher/Kubernettes

• Experience with Java, .Net, Python, Golang is a plus

• Be able to create and share API guides and packages (e.g. Postman collections) with API partners for new feature launches

• Be able to create, update, and maintain external API documentation on our developer site

• Be able to proactively communicate and collaborate with various infrastructure and engineering teams to provide API solutions that can scale and are operationally sound

• Employ agile software development methodologies, DevOps best practices, test driven development, build/deploy systems, and code repositories

Key Responsibilities

Identify and uphold API Developer best practices
Collaborate with designers & product managers to iterate on the design & implementation of our product
Work with Engineers from our consumers to build and ship features
Design a framework for creating services that grows with the needs of the company
Monitor performance, watch for traffic drops related to usability problems & rectify the issues
Review app and feature code, and plan future API upgrades with the development team
Assist in the development of applications & features that will be put on the website, mobile app, and external client apps
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
