Role: SAS SQL Data Analyst

Location: Franklin Lakes, New Jersey

Duration: 11 months

 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing codes to pull the data, Data Analysis, reporting based on client requirements.
• Assist in data acquisition and data preparation by pulling data from various databases to perform data analysis and assist in data reporting as needed.
• Reviewing and improving existing processes and collaborating with teams to integrate new processes, recommend application and/or process improvements using root cause analysis, data mining, and best practices.
• Contributes to and leads complex analytical and reporting projects, developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions.
• Responsible for delivering projects with Accuracy and timeliness.
• Accountable assessing assigned requests from the Stakeholders and responding quickly with challenges which may impact time to deliver.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and cross functionally to resolve complex matters with innovative solutions.
• Ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple deadlines.
• Work/lead multiple analytical projects simultaneously provided SQL/SAS support
• Recommend and implement enhancements to existing and new projects/processes.

 

Preferred qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years' work experience in reporting/ analytic background in Healthcare domain
• Proficient in both SQL and SAS
• Basic skills of R or Python Queries and Visualization tools
• Bachelors or master’s degree with specialization in statistics, applied mathematics, economics, finance, computer science or Information systems/science; Preference given to candidates with demonstrated academic achievement in core subjects and proficiency in quantitative subject matter.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy/healthcare claims data
• Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment without compromising the quality.
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills"
