MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE

§  DEVOPS, Docker/Swarm/Kubernates

§  TeamCity/Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, AWS and/or OpenShift

§  RHEL, Websphere,Tomcat, Java Technology Stack

§  Docker Containers experience in production

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

§  Automating build, release/deployment, manual processes and workflows

§  Ensure that software builds happen predictably, consistently and reliably

§  Manage risks and resolve issues that affect scope, schedule, and quality

§  Administer source code version control system, and conduct version control, branching, merging, labeling for multiple release versions of multiple applications

§  Advocate for improving our build and release toolchain

§  Support deployment activities of development and production releases including troubleshooting of release blockers such as infrastructure, configuration, and code

§  Assist development of troubleshooting system and software issues in all environments

§  Support and improve our tools, infrastructure, and processes that support rapid and reliable delivery of high-quality software to our production service

 

 

secondary skills: Key tools and technologies

§  Understand how to automate systems deployment for all lifecycles - from development through production within a Continuous Delivery model.

§  Direct, hands-on experience with DevOps processes and lifecycle management tools

§  Strong experience with IaaS implementation in a cloud-hosted model – Azure required

§  Experience with SDLC tools, such as Jira, Bitbucket, Git, SVN etc

§  Experience with configuration management tools such as PowerShell DSC or Chef

§  Key tools and technologies include PowerShell, Octopus, Git, SubVersion (SVN), Visual Studio

§  Hands-on Python, PowerShell, Batch Scripting, Ruby, JavaScript, Groovy Script

§  Experience in implementing CI/CD pipeline for application/deployment

§  Good understanding of Selenium framework and ALM UFT testing tools.

§  Strong experience with Microsoft platforms, including .NET, Windows Server, and SQL Server

§  Hands-on experience in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support leveraging tools such as: Jenkins, Selenium, ServiceWise, Octopus and Outsystems

§  Hands-on experience in Open source Microsoft Installer Wixtool kit

§  Working knowledge of Docker, containerized microservice architecture, and automated deployment/management of containerized applications

 

GOOD TO HAVE:

§  Experience in developing and delivering infrastructure-as-code

§  Knowledge of networking, firewalls, load balancers etc.

§  Prior knowledge of implementation of Cloud private or public cloud would be good

§  Prior Knowledge of vSphere SDK, vRA and other VMware infrastructure components would be preferred
