Description:
You will be given the opportunity to drive innovation and
automation across the enterprise. This will include architectural design,
technical communication, creating working prototypes/proofs of concept and
assisting engineering teams when needed. The architecture group is distinct
from the engineering groups. Architecture teams will identify, define, document
and communicate architecturally significant decisions.
Responsibilities
·
You
will architect, design, and assist engineering teams in the development of
Java-based applications. You will provide technical estimates and custom
solution delivery and coordinate between the clients and various teams. The
application deploys many tools and technologies both in the backend as well as
customer facing UI.
·
You
will be responsible for ensuring overall architectural success for the Employer
Services Transformation group. There will be multiple other architects working
specifically on different teams, whereas this role with ensure that all
development is done in support of a larger design and end-state.

Demonstrating
prowess in the current state of the art for software engineering methodology
and stay ahead of the latest developments in future methods and/or standard
methodologies.

You
will partner with clients to envision large-scale, revenue-generating
systems/platforms, and translate that vision to system design (enterprise
scale).

You
will work with leaders from the Engineering Teams to deliver business value
·
You
will define and own accountability for the architecture of systems within your
scope. This includes utilizing Corporate Assets, determining roadmaps for how
to incrementally achieve end-state goals and communicating business value in
technical terms.

You
will identify improvements in systems and work processes.
Requirement:
·
Bachelor's
degree in Computer Science, engineering or related technical discipline or
equivalent experience
·
Over
7 years + of Java software development experience as developer, designer, and architect
·
Experienced
in GCP ,AWS or Azure, Spring, and Cloud experience.
·
Expertise
in the use of the Java programming language with a deep understanding of Java
design patterns
·
Possess
solid experience in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise
applications using the latest version of Spring Boot, Spring REST, Spring
Security, Hibernate, etc.
·
Experience
in Web UI development using JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, Angular, Bootstrap, NodeJS,
Smart GWT, etc.
·
Expertise
using relational databases like Oracle and SQL development. Preferably,
experience with Cloud-native repositories as well.
·
Proficiency
using build, quality check, and source code control tools and processes like
Git, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, and Sonarqube
·
Experience
with enterprise application development focused on job automation, integration,
moving data, and enterprise security
·
Support
members of the team in delivering backend services with high availability, low
latency, and scalability.
·
Solid
grasp and knowledge of industry standard software development methodologies
like Agile methodologies.
·
Working
experience with software development tools and practices such as Eclipse,
Maven, Jenkins, CI/ CD, etc.
·
Be
able to analyze highly complex problems and to decompose, relate and design
appropriate solutions to those problems.
·
You
possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to
communicate with technical and non-technical team members at various levels
·
Experience
in Cloud Computing and Cloud Native Design (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc.);
Google Cloud preferred
·
Experience
in test automation using Selenium, Cucumber, Test NG, is a plus
