Description:
We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Data Insights Engineer
to join our growing team during an exciting cloud transformation.
You will have the opportunity to gain an in-depth
understanding of Workforce Solutions’ data assets, products, and business model
to help improve our data operations and support a smooth transition to Google
Cloud Platform (GCP).
Primary responsibilities will include gathering
requirements, ETL, advising best GCP practices, and data analysis.
The responsibilities of this role lay the groundwork for an
impactful career on the D&A team as a transformation and data subject
matter expert.

What You
Will Do:
Wrangle data from disparate systems and drive automation of
standard data processes and analytical reports/dashboards.
Leverage your GCP expertise to help migrate and
optimize existing reporting and processes.
Collaborate with your peers, leaders, and subject
matter experts to derive actionable insights.
Dig into data to understand and explain the root cause of
trends or outliers.
Requirements:
5+ years of work experience in identifying, gathering,
transforming and analysing data within and across database platforms (SQL,
Python).
2+ years of work experience building, loading,
transforming, and analysing data within GCP (Big Query, Dataflow, Dataproc,
JupyterLab), AWS or similar infrastructure.
Strong analytical skills including the ability to
rapidly learn new data assets.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and written
communication, including slide decks, process flows and technical
documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information
Systems, Economics, Engineering, or a comparable discipline.
Able to travel <10%.Optional
Qualifications:
Familiarity with Java and SAS.
Familiarity with Tableau.
Knowledge of Equifax’s differentiated data assets and
technology delivery platforms or equivalent industry experience.
Understanding of Agile methodology.
Familiarity with the financial services industry and FCRA
regulations.
