asking for support

good afternoon, friends

As you may know, our son Kevin is the lawyer for Albuquerque's City Council.

Two weeks ago, he had his 45th birthday

Tuesday, he flew to Orlando to attend a law conference.This morning, he felt chest pains severe enough he called  911. They took him to Advent Health Celebration Hospital, where they ran tests and said his cholesterol was high. They hospitalized him.

 He's slated for a heart catherization tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. They say there is a wide range of possibilities from he needs a change of diet to he's had a heart attack. At the serious end, he might even need immediate heart surgery.

They got his wife, Erica, on the phone and explained everything to her from his hospital room. He also has a friend atending the same conference who is also with him.  Erica is now on her way to Orlando, arriving at 11 p.m. This does mean she has to fly directly over/through/around  the massive Hurriicane Helene, but she'll be there in time for whatever procedure he goes through.

Please pray for him. Please pray for them. Please pray for us. If that's not part of your belief system, think good thoughts. We value whatever support you can give us.
