Dear everyone, I would like to ask your opinion about an issue I am facing currently while running ParFlow CLM, i would like to share that  i am quite new to ParFlow and also Fortran.
Here is the error i am getting:

At line 182 of file drv_readclmin.F90 (unit = 20)

Fortran runtime error: File already opened in another unit

Primary job  terminated normally, but 1 process returned

a non-zero exit code. Per user-direction, the job has been aborted.

mpiexec detected that one or more processes exited with non-zero status, thus causingthe job to be terminated. The first process to do so was:

  Process name: [[19023,1],0]

  Exit code:    2

My question is that: wouild it be an issue related to how drv_readclmin.F90 is scripted (which i also tried to modify unit=20 several times after working with original file) or about my proccessors or computational power?

Please if you can give some ideas i would be glad. I can share more information about my case study if needed.

All have a good one,
Cheers

Hi-  Does your install of parflow pass all the tests?  Specifically, the CLM tests will determine if you have a stable fortran install.  You should not need to do anything with the source code or need to know anything about fortran to run PF-CLM.  If those tests pass, then you can start with the single column PF-CLM examples in our short course and the ParFlow resources on HydroFrame.
